"And I'll take care of your wife..."

Bob and Sara at Niagra Falls, 1976

Sara Lowndes: The two met at the wedding of Albert Grossman (Dylan's manager) and his young bride Sally (a waitress who befriended Sara in New York). Although still seeing Baez, Dylan was smitten with Lowndes and they became romantically involved. He kept it very private but it was a whirlwind romance and he fell in love with Sara and was happy to become father to her young daughter Maria.
Married Bob Dylan: on November 22, 1965 in Long Island.
Divorced from Dylan: in 1977.
Carolyn Dennis: Married Dylan on: June 4th, 1986 in Los Angeles.
Divorced from Dylan on: August 7, 1990.
Dennis now lives in New York and does work on Broadway. She received a 2003 Ovation Award nomination for "Best Actress in a Musical" for RAISIN at ICT. She also appeared on Broadway in STREET CORNER (Miss Cynthia). Broadway/ National credits: BIG RIVER (Original Cast Recording), THE WIZ and ONCE ON THIS ISLAND. Other credits: MOMS, THE RIVER, Joseph Papp's LA BOHéME, NON-PASQUALE, THE FABRIC OF A MAN (NAACP Award nomination), and WOMAN THOU ART LOOSED. Ms. Dennis has toured and recorded as a featured soloist and background singer with Bob Dylan, Bruce Springsteen, Stevie Wonder, Pastor Andraé Crouch, and many other well-known artists. TV/Film: "Sparks, Sparks, & Sparks", "Good News", singing voice of Josephine Baker in "The Josephine Baker Story". Grateful for her grandmother's and mother's encouragement and support of her gift of song, Ms. Dennis dedicates her performance to God and her family. She is currently performing in the "A Color Purple Broadway Show" in Chicago.
Sara and Carolyn are the only two women that have been confirmed as having been married to Dylan.
